Spring is Near!

Posted by admin on in Shopping

Thinking of Spring, my mind naturally turns towards planting flowers. It is so much easier planting from starts, but if you plant seeds now, you will have starts by planting time and save a lot of money in the process.

I normally start my seeds in a Styrofoam cup, a little potting soil, water and a lot of sunlight. Tended to properly and you will have strong starts in about two months, just in time to start planting. After it warms outside the starts ( on a tray ) can be moved out of doors through the day and brought back in at night until the nights become warmer.

A good way to save a little money on plants and a lot of pride to know that you planted the flowers from the seed up!

Shoes, Shoes, and More Shoes

Posted by admin on in Shopping

Can a woman ever have enough pairs of shoes?  We think not!

Why yes, Virginia, there IS a mouse in my pocket!

I LOVE shoes! Heels, flats, slippers, clogs, ballet, boat shoes, boots, I love them all!

If I could live in a shoe, I would! Which reminds me, I saw an old pair of work boots once filled with dirt and flowers growing from the top. They were so cute, in fact I think that I will try that this year; if I can find an old pair of work boots (I guess that is what Goodwill is handy for!)

There is a woman in the UK that had to buy a larger house to have room for her shoe collection worth over £50k.

Okay, I must admit, that I don’t  like shoes THAT much. But, I think that it is nice to have some fun shoes to wear.

Perfume, Yes!

Posted by admin on in Shopping

Mmmm…perfume. Flowery, spicy, exotic, musky we like them all!

The neat thing about perfume, if you don’t want to pay for it, normally when a new perfume is marketed, when you first see it advertised, try doing a google search for the  name of the perfume.  After the name of the perfume type in free sample. Often times the new perfume will offer a free sample for registering on the website. Once that is done, they will mail you a sample and if you like the fragrance, you will be in luck because chances are they will send you coupons for the sample fragrance and any new fragrance that they manufacture in the future.

Also while searching, if you would like to try other fragrances, just try a free perfume sample, or fragrance samples in the address bar. A lot of times sites will offer free samples of new products. All you need to do is search for the offers.

I love getting free samples, and sometimes if I like the product the coupon that comes with the sample encourages me to purchase the product even more!

So, there you go! See big companies, you can win customers by giving away free samples!! We are waiting!!
